There seems to be lot of apps at the app store that are saying they are ad blockers but I don't know what are good apps and what are not good apps.

Some are free and some you have to pay.

Note may be the Brave browser may have built in ad blocker? I have not tried it.

Brave works for me.

I use AdBlock Multi (free) for Safari.

For Firefox I've been using the "uBlock Origin" extension which you'll find in the Add-ons section of Firefox (search in extensions), not the App Store.

What extensions? Since when did Firefox on iOS start supporting extensions?

It is firefox browser for the iPad.

As for DuckDuckGo browser or firefox focus browser it does not have dark mode. So I think DuckDuckGo browser or firefox focus browser may have adblocker but it does not have dark mode.
