For people to start getting use to not having a button with the track pad and only learn to use multitouch like how it is on iphone?

I realize now that i turn on trackpad clicking that i just about NEVER use my think click button. Also the click button is so small i'm thinking they did it on purpose so it'll force us to use multitouch.

Anyone have the same thinking?

Nope. I turned on the 'touch clicking' on the trackpad and found it to be a bit wonky - I wound up tapping and moving my cursor in documents way too often.

I've had zero problems getting accustomed to the smaller button however, it works just fine. It felt a bit odd at first but after a short while it's not been an issue for me.

i turned off tap to click too!
it's so distracting having my cursor move back a few sentences when i'm furiously typing during lecture.
i like tap to click though, shame i can't type without accidentally touching the trackpad. Maybe they should make the trackpad a little less sensitive.

As for the button it seems huge to me cos I switched from a compact little Acer. :D no probs on that front.

Tap to click is fine for me thanks to my typing style. Tap to drag on the other hand, is annoying as heck. I find myself inadvertently highlighting text on web pages all the time.

I rarely use the click pad. I only use it when copying multiple folders to another volume. Aside from that, the trackpad suits me just fine!
