Depending on how bad the economy gets due to COVID-19, I am wondering if I should wait on the 2020 iPad Pros in hopes there will be a price drop. I have an older iPad Pro and I would like to get the new Pencil and hopefully use Sidecar for drawing.
This one's more to do with restructuring storage tiers and pricing. LTE is still $150 more than Wi-Fi.Well, technically the LTE version already has a price drop. Last model 256GB LTE iPad Pro 11" was $1099. This year it's $1049. Not a huge drop, but a drop none the less.
I doubt we'll see more than a $50-100 drop anytime soon.

That said, I expect we'll be seeing quick discounts on these from retailers.

I have trouble understanding this rumor. Apple will release a more significant ipad pro update, butHowever, I also predict that fall/winter will see an update to the cellular models with 5G and A14X, at either the same price or perhaps $50 higher.
I have trouble understanding this rumor. Apple will release a more significant ipad pro update, but
only for cellular equipped ipads. So what happens in 2021--a re-release of the same model but
without celluar?
No. My unsubstantiated belief is that they will update them all in 2021 or 2022.I have trouble understanding this rumor. Apple will release a more significant ipad pro update, but
