Hi all. I upgraded from the Ultra 2 to 3 yesterday and need help with an app called heart analyzer. previously there was a toggle in settings to get rid of the little symbols inside the complications. does anyone know where the setting is? I can’t find it. thanks.

I use that app.

I have Recent Heart Rate as one of my complications. When upgrading from a Series 8 to Series 11, that complication would not load, leaving a big blank space in the middle of my watch face.

Going through the watch face settings, I saw several categories for its complications listed twice. Picking the other entry for Recent Heart Rate got it working again.

You need to be running WatchOS 26 to access the configuration screen for the complication on iPhone or the Watch face.
If you’re on WatchOS 10 or 11 there’s a preference toggle in the Heart Analyzer Watch app Settings to hide/show complication symbols.

I am on watchOS 26

I'm seeing the option to hide the symbols on both my iPhone and on the watch itself:

That said, I prefer the way another app (Heart Watch) presents the data. Here they are, side-by-side (the lower left complications). Heart Analyzer is on the left, and Heart Watch is on the right (click to enlarge):

Heart Analyzer's low/high text is white, and too large (in my opinion). Heart Watch uses a smaller font, and differentiates the numbers by color, which I prefer. I also prefer Heart Watch's color palette, because it saves the RED section until the very end of the circle (right, bottom) which makes more sense to me (Heart Analyzer on the other hand transitions to red far too quickly, which sort of implies that a pulse rate of 76 - as in the screenshot - is in the RED zone, which it most certainly is not). That said, the data presented in the apps themselves is far better in Heart Analyzer, in my opinion (it shows a chart graphic, whereas Heart Watch simply shows a speedometer-esque graphic showing current pulse).

In my case, I actually review my health data on my phone (never on my watch) so I tend to just go for apps with complications I like, visually. For me, that's Heart Watch (rather than Heart Analyzer). YMMV.

The only other thing you could do is contact the developer. I did previously and they responded.
Many thanks but I’ll leave things as they are. I do not see what you address seeing but it’s not enough to get me out of my seat with concern. Simply interested why you see one thing whereas I see differ. 🙂
