Does anyone use Textie?

Textie is an iPhone-to-iPhone messaging app from the developers of Tweetie and Borange. I've never really liked most of the other iPhone-to-iPhone messaging apps but I really like this one, even if it doesn't have a lot of features (yet).

One of the features I really like is that you don't have a number or username as an ID: you use your email address to sign up. So if you send a message through Textie either that person has Textie too and receives your message in the app or if they don't have it they receive it as an email.

You mean like quick reply? That has to be done in the OS, not in an app I think.

Nope, quick reply is not within bite, at least for me it isn't. I mean the privacy features of bite where no tags show up on my screen, just a chat like bubble next to the battery percentage.

Oh I see. I haven't used BiteSMS in a while, I didn't know they had that.

I use textie and textplus. Textie looks better but the method they use to send texts makes each text sent appear as a new and separate message for the receiver. Textplus is better in that all the messages will be received in the same text window no matter if the receiver is using the app or not. This is primarily the only reason I keep/use textplus.
