It may cause male infertility:

Your call.

Is this a reputable source?

Years ago, I seem to recall reading a silly report that suggested that playing a cello could lead to similar risky outcomes for men; fortunately, that was debunked.

All the time. I have a 2008 15" MBP that I use primarily in this manner. Across the room is my MacPro. But most of my web browsing is done in a comfortable chair with the MBP on my lap. Everybody else in the house uses them on their laps except for work issued laptops.

99% of the time, though not if a game is revving the fans. Think it will go to 100% when I get my firs M1 MBPro!

Been using a laptop on my lap since about 2004'ish.
As far as I can remember daily MacBooks, since probably 2009.

Are any of you concerned about blocking the rear vent between the body and screen lid? I'd imagine it would get uncomfortable with the lid edge digging in to the leg hah
