I have been charging the Belkin Boost Charge Pro 3-in-1 wireless charger the last 2 years with no problems at all. Every night I turn on sleep cycle and place it on the magsafe puck and it charges no issue.

However, I just got the iPhone 16 Pro Max and for some reason its crawling on a charge overnight and doesn't even come close to getting to 100%. I'd say nightly it gains about 50% or so charge. My iPhone 13 PM, 14 PM, and 15 PM charged just fine every day as well. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

My device caching and setup is completed days ago, theres no nefarious app running overnight, all app battery usages look fine, but the magsafe is just acting wonky. I thought it was the 16 at first but it has been charging fine on my other magsafe chargers and via USB-C. The Belkin charger might be the culprit but its weird I never had an issue until the first night with the 16 and every day since.

Yep, I’m having the same issue! I also have a 16 Pro Max and use Sleep Cycle. Never had this issue with my previous phone on iOS 18.

I think I’ve narrowed it down to a bug with StandBy mode while MagSafe charging. When StandBy is active, I wake up and the phone is charged to somewhere between 70 and 80 percent. But if I lay the phone flat to charge, not activating StandBy, it charges fully up to 100%.

I hope the upcoming 18.0.1 update fixes this!

Mine initially says it’s charging when I connect and then will stop charging and a couple of times overnight will start and stop charging. Woke up this morning with 1% battery. Luckily I’m off work but this is completely unacceptable as I use the phone on the nightstand as my alarm clock.

I do have an official Apple MagSafe charge too so I’m going to try that as well and see if it has the same issue

Actually changing the cable plugging in my 3 in one charger to the wall, to the USB-C one that came with the phone seems to have sorted it.

I am having this issue with my Anker 3-in-1 Charger and my iPhone 16 Pro or really any wireless charger. I did not have the issue with 15 Pro using same chargers.
