I am just wondering because maybe you could help me. I applied a few months ago to work in an Apple Store and just recently got an email - the store wants me to come in, bring a resume, fill out some paperwork, etc, with a few other "select" candadites. Does anyone know what this "informal meeting" entails - and my probability of getting the job? Thanks.

I'm not sure but I think that people who work for Apple are not allowed to browse on Mac Rumor sites, therefore you may find it hard getting a response from an Apple Retail Employee.

Anyway I think the call in is a very good sign and i'm sure that if all goes well you will be a member of the Apple team in no time...

Mind you, there's no problem that i know of with us resellers (lol)

Really depends on the store. It's not like steve jobs himself presides over these and sets standards for everything.

AFAIK, Apple employees are just not allowed to post to these forums.

Yup - banning people from browsing would be pretty hard to police.

Mind you, so is the posting part, as long as you're smart enough not to yell that you work somewhere specific...or your name...
