Rocketing through the sky!
I was just wondering since they sell refurbished stuff, so do they buy it back/trade in kinda deal to get a new one? or is it returns and all that rot? I'm thinking about selling my 12" pb so i can buy a 15" mbp so i dunno where i can get the best price!

Nope...their refurbs are returns and repairs where they replaced a user's machine with a new one before extensively overhauling the bad machine to make it like new.

No, apple does not do trade ins. You can get the most on ebay, but there you have to deal with fees and deadbeats. The marketplace here is another good bet - people won't pay as much, but you avoid the above mentioned problems. Powermax.com also accepts trade-ins when you buy a new computer, but they won't give you top dollar because they have to make a profit when they resell it.
