So my iPhone X back glass is cracked. Nothing else on the phone is wrong, screen is intact, works as expected. Apple has told me the repair is $550, and that is because they simply replace the phone for a refurbished model. But despite the guy telling me this, the official stance on Apple is that this is a "chassis repair."
Well so if that is the case, if I were to crack my screen in the future, they would still charge me $550 for the "chassis repair" + the $280 for screen repair? Or would they just do the $550 for a replacement iPhone?
