I have been looking a bit into Google Tango and i love the concept and and its potential.
I thought that I really wanted to try it out, but then realised that this is an Android thing only, as far as I can see. (I am heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem)
Are there rumours around as to what is Apple doing in this field and when we might be able to expect some usable products?

Apple is most assuredly working on AR tech, but there's nothing public yet.

The question is more like "does Google have an answer to Apple's PrimeSense technology"?

Because the technology that powers Google's comercial product is owned by Apple.

So it does (albeit through acquisition). I had no idea.
What are they waiting for?
