New m2 Mac mini and studio display. My old Logitech mouse looks out of place. Time to replace.

Does the current apple mouse wake our macs if bumped?

I like my Logitech mouse because you have to click the mouse to wake the Mac. This is important when you have cats.

Thanks

I thought that was just how macOS works...not the type of mouse. Regardless, the same behavior is seen on my Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad.

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure before I placed my order. Some Bluetooth mice do stay on all the time. I have a Logitech pebble. Even hours of no use. A small bump and it wakes. But my Logitech MX only wakes on button click.
Thanks

A mouse is one item I will choose to use based totally on comfort and functionality, certainly not because "it looks out of place". Who cares how it looks?

Just tried - if you bump it in the first 5 seconds of it going to sleep, it’ll wake. But after that, no, only a click will wake it.
Nice to know... What I usually do after moving the Logitech wireless [bluetooth] mouse when my MacBook Pro is on sleep and it does not respond, I press the power button in the keyboard and it wakes up...

Yeah, movement only doesn't seem to wake the display with a longer wait. Wakes on my Studio with a click on the primary button.
