Does AppleCare+ with theft/loss protection cover you if you are on the Staten Island Ferry and your iPhone falls into the bottom the bay? (while you are leaning to take pictures)

It was a true story that happened to me... although this was a very long time ago and my Moto flip phone slipped out of my gloved hands...

Just wondering if I want to the the regular AppleCare+ or the more expensive one with theft/loss coverage.

Yes of course. Theft+Loss is exactly for that.

No. But it will cover you if you are on the Angel Island Tiburon Ferry and your iPhone falls into the bottom of San Francisco Bay.
