Does AT&T prepaid 3g SIM card work with iPhone?

someone claim he was able to use a used iPhone 3g with AT&T GoPhone 3g SIM Card. Can anyone confirm that this is real? If so, I want to get on board.

That video is from July. In September, AT&T has made it harder to do this by now allowing a GoPhone sim to be used in any other phone for a period of six months. You have to go to ebay and buy an older sim card to be able to do this.

Here's what I did:

Call AT&T
Cancel your iPhone contract
Tell them you'd like to convert your plan a go-phone account
They'll just modify your existing phone number
Then, hang up and pop your SIM in your iPhone.

Worked perfectly for me!
