If two apps under the same external conditions, e.g. both WiFi and bluetooth are disabled and brightness of the screen are adjusted to the same degree. Will one apps consume battery faster than another apps within same period of time?

Hi,
yep, it absolutely does. Some apps need more power to work and it's pretty common for some apps (for example social media apps) to work in the background, which means they are using battery even if you are not logged.
Cheers

Technically when an app is disabled by hiding it in the background, it shouldn’t use any power if background refresh and notifications are set to off. But in the real world, that’s not the case. Some apps suck battery even when suspended and background refresh and notifications are set to off AND the app has been forced quit. Those apps aren’t playing by the rules.
