Hi All,

A few questions, hope you can advise :)

Q1) Does CCC work now for M1 Macs with Big Sur?

Q2) How easy is it to reinstall the image?
E.g. I've upgraded to Monterey and hit issues with my HW setup, so want to downgrade back to the exactly how I was on Big Sur.

Q3)
In fact - Can I easily downgrade back to Big Sur, without using something like CCC?
Do I just then get all my data back from time machine?

Best Wishes and happy xmas! ?

Martin

Installing a past Time Machine backup is easiest, but you'll lose any file changes made since you upgraded to Monterey. Another options is to backup files you want to keep, wipe the Mac and reinstall Big Sur. You'll then need to reinstall all apps and transfer back any files you'd like to keep.

CCC has been updated to work just fine with Big Sur.

I believe you can still create bootable clones, although "the procedure" has changed slightly.
