One of my Apple devices use one (first) Apple ID, and the other apple device uses another (second) Apple ID.
I want to migrate the Apple device using second Apple ID to the first Apple ID.
When I logout of the second Apple ID and login to the first Apple ID on the device, I don’t get the sms messages lying on that device (iPhone) synced to other device using first Apple ID. Other data like contacts, syncs without problem to all devices using first Apple ID.
Please tell whether syncing of sms text messages will work or not? Messages in iCloud is enabled and also text sms forwarding is enabled.

When you log out of the second device are you telling it to keep all data on the device? Maybe turn of messages in the cloud first and let it be alone like that for a little while first, then log out of the second Apple ID after a day or two again telling it to keep all data on device. Then log into the first Apple ID.

i am doing just that. But it is not uploading sms text messages from iPhone (earlier on second apple ID) to first apple ID devices.
