Does COD4 run fine on MBP with crossover?

i know that COD4 on leopard has issues of horrible fps, even with a mbp more than capable of running COD4; and everyone says to run COD3 through bootcamp or better performance. but will it still be just as slow on leopard if i use COD4 with crossover?

CoD4 isn't that that bad on Mac.
I played it for a couple of weeks on my "old" MBP with the 8600 MGT.
