Hello all! I just got my first iPhone (3GS 16G) the other day. I've been using a Blackberry and it had it's own email address. Even though my regular email went through MS exchange, you could email directly to another service without it going through the Exchange server and showing up in the Outlook SENT file. Is there a way to do this on the iPhone? I'd like to be able to send emails without it showing up in Outlook. Thanks.

I think you are referring to the Blackberry mailbox you get with a "Blackberry Internet" account. Far as I know this is just another POP/IMAP mailbox. So, if I were you I would just setup an account with GMail or Yahoo mail and setup your iPhone to use that.

That works for just sending an email but if I want to send a photo I have to start with the photo and then it defaults to Outlook. Is there a way to choose the email account when sending a photo or when attaching a photo to the email?

If your iPhone has multiple e-mail accounts set up, you can tap on your "From" e-mail address to change it to another account.
