Does iMac stand stain wood like HomePod?

Hey all,

I was hoping that any past or present iMac owners could chime in on whether or not the iMac stand causes any staining or discoloration on wood surfaces similar to the ring on the bottom of HomePods. I believe the rubbery or silicone material on the underside of the iMac and HomePod is different, but I'm not positive.
