Hey folks,
ok I was under the assumption that IMessages took priority, but failing delivery, it would always revert to SMS. But Im starting to realise that's not the case.
So today, a colleague turned off wifi and mobile data.
He has both his mobile number and email registered under IMessage.
I have both his mobile number and email in my contacts.
But when I sent him a message, he didnt receive it.
We waited 5 minutes, still nothing.
Eventually, he switched his mobile network back on, and instantly the IMessage was delivered.
Is this a glitch in the matrix?
If someone goes on holiday abroard, and like many others, turns off data roaming, then does that mean they will no longer receive messages from other iphones. Or does it mean, they must turn off Imessage aswell?
