Does increasing text size settings on Mac also use more system resources (decrease battery life)?

Hey guys,

I find the text and icon sizes a little small on my Macbook Air 13", and have increased the sizes of both in System Preferences. I find things much easier to read, but does increasing this also use more of my computer's resources, and thus, decrease battery life?

Not at all. Battery life will be unaffected.

Nope. Using a display with higher res does, not larger 2D graphics. It stopped being a problem a quarter of a century ago.
