iOS 13 PB1 Seems to be working fine so far for me with my Watch still on WatchOS 5.

Only issue I have discovered to date is that I seem to have lost the ability to add items to my Shopping List in reminders from the Watch.

You might have upgraded the reminder as per Apple’s tricks. If you don’t see an upgrade button next to your “iCloud” reminder list, then the only choice to make reminder works again is to upgrade watch to watchOS 6.
Otherwise, it might as well just a bug that needs to be fixed.

. . . I seem to have lost the ability to add items to my Shopping List in reminders from the Watch.

Update: It looks like this may be a change to the required phrasing in iOS 13 PB1.

If I now say ‘Add XXXX to my Shopping Reminders” from the Watch, it seems to work.

I did the betas for the last three iOS updates but haven't done 13 yet because I'm worried about my watch. If I do the iOS 13 public beta, is it even possible to get Watch OS 6 yet or will I be stuck with no Reminders and whatever other bugs exist? I really want to do it on my phone because of the Car Play changes but I don't want to cripple my watch.

I have a Series 1 Watch and was forced to update to Beta within Beta 2 in IOS13
Please be clearer about what you mean by "forced to update". Forced by Apple or forced because running WatchOS 5 in conjunction with iOS 13 was not working well?

If you don't have an Apple Developer Account, you can't obtain the profile to allow you to download the WatchOS 6 beta (in an Apple-sanctioned manner -- I know there are countless other ways to obtain the goods).

It does. But my Series 4 battery is draining super fast (less than a day's usage) since updating the iPhone to iOS13.
Thiswas the case for me too. But as soon as the phone itself was done indexing the battery of the watch improved. Took a few days. Back to normal now.

Guess I’ll hold off on getting an AW until watchOS 6 is fully released. My phone is on iOS 13 and I’ve heard beta testing on a watch is hell sometimes.

My Watch was not syncing at all with my iphone. I even did a full restore with no luck. I ended up updating the Watch to Beta 2 which has worked flawless ever since.
