Does IOS 5 allow pairing with Blackberry + tethering over BT

On iPad it is impossible to pair with blackberry.
I personally have a BBB (blackberry bold 9700) - company phone.

iPad bluetooth scans shows nothing.

For tethering i must have my iPad JB and i use a cydia 5$ app called iBlueEver that replaces apple BT stack with a stock one + allow to choose the right script for the job (to allow tethering).

This, forces me not to upgrade and to JB my device.

My question is - for all of you IOS 5 users - can you confirm/deny :

1. the possibility to pair with a blackberry phone (running OS lower than 7).
2. the possibility to tether through Bluetooth.
