Does iPhone 4 bought in UK, in O2, Orange (not in Apple Store, mainly in carriers) etc.... has a simlock?

Oh.. and can I buy it without a contract?

Yes, and there only available at the moment on contract

although, aslong as your in contract, O2 will unlock your iPhone for free,(they did this with my 3GS, not sure if same applys for iP4)

Don't know what the other networks are doing.

OK thanks for info, and do you know if Apple Retail Stores have iPhone 4 in stock (mostly I mean those in Liverpool or Manchester).

doubt it, you could always phone them, but i think you will have to join a list of people who also want one :p
