I am really shocked to know that my current Android phone will record the GPS location in the properties of the taken pictures when it is transferred to the computer, if I do not remove it. I don't know how accurate GPS could be but it really makes me feel so bad because I never knew about removing EXIF.

I am really shocked because I've shared a lot of pictures taken with the phone and I didn't know about removing EXIF.

Does iPhone also record the GPS location to the pictures?

It's a fairly normal thing that has been part of it all for some time now. You can always change that by not allowing the camera to access your location information. You an also remove that information from photos that already have it using some apps.
