Does iTunes Match keep scanning your library after the inital scan?

Hello Guys,

I'm planning on doing iTunes Match, my question is, after the initial scan, does iTunes keep scanning for any new music that I add?

I have tons of tracks, that I will need to clean/tag, tag the Artist / Song / Album / Genre / Year etc.
So this is why I am wondering if iTunes keep scanning my library for newly added music.

Yes whenever you add new music to your iTunes it automatically scans and adds it to iTunes Match.
