For some reason, I've noticed it's a bit slower than my MBP in opening and saving documents from iwork and office 2008. I made a keynote presentation that came out to 25MB and I tried to export it as a powerpoint file to email to my classmates. It took a long time and a couple times, it had the colorful swirl circling for the longest time. I left my computer for a while and finally it was done. With my MBP, this procedure is done within seconds or at most, a minute. Anyone having this issue? If its an issue, should i fresh reinstall my OS and reinstall the latest backup? The backup i'm using now when i first got this mac mini is from my MBP.

well, your mac mini is technically slower than your notebook, but not noticeably so.

are the more recent presentation files more complicated than you usually do? It seems quite odd.
