If I jailbreak my iPhone, do I keep my contract from att? Will I be able to make calls? I searched the forums, but found nothing. Thanks in advance! ;)
p.s. I am just too lazy to edit my signature :D

Your phone will retain all of it unjailbroken functions.

Why do you want to jailbreak?

Thanks for replie :) I heard there were a lot of advantages, and not a lot of cons. Also, would I still have pay att for service?:rolleyes:

You are contractually bound to keep a postpaid account in good standing with AT&T for a period of no less than 2 years as a condition of purchasing the iPhone at a subsidized price.

Whether or not you jailbreak the iPhone - or, indeed, whether or not you even use the iPhone with AT&T at all - has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on that contractual obligation.

The only way to get out of that obligation is to cancel your AT&T account - which usually involves paying an early termination fee.
