Does the lack of screen coating on the new iPads impact the viewing of the screen compared to iPad 2 Air? I use mine outside in the shade daily. Will the lack of coating make the screen too reflective to view outside?

I just used my dad's new iPad out on our balcony, and coming from my own iPad 2 Air/Macbook 12" I thought to myself "I'll never own an unlaminated screen again". Why would you switch from iPad 2 Air anyway? 
It's the best one: light, laminated, and with a flush camera.

Coating or not, sometimes you have to adjust where you sit so reflections are minimized.
