Did anyone check this out further. I’m trying to find a Smart Folio for my m1 12.9 and they are all out of stock… loads of generic cases suggest they all one size fits all?

I had both for about a month. I can confirm that neither the Magic Keyboard or the two ESR cases I had were compatible with both. There were 12.9” and 13” versions. The camera ports were slightly different and the magnets were not in the same locations.

That example is not a one-size-fits-all. It's one-size-fits-2021/2022 iPad Pro or 2024 iPad Air. Then there's a separate model for the 2024 iPad Pro.

I suspect it's due to the very thin (~5mm) case on the M4 iPad Pro.
