althought Mac pro 6,1 looks is not worth to buy, I still get one several days ago. I use P4801X as its drive. It works really well, but I have to keep the fan works on 50% or higher to make sure its temperature stay on around 55 degree. So I plan to move the optane out and put an cooler and larger storage ssd into it. I read some information from internet, the SN550 is buffer-less ssd, and it works well in MacBook Pro/Air. But SN550 show issue status in the Mac pro NVMe drives thread. So what is the fact about this drive? Thanks.

3/1/21 update
I connected SN550 through an thunderbolt enclosure to my Mac, it works well, about 1GB/s read and 1.3GB/ write.
