Hey guys, a buddy gave me his copy of MacDrive6 that he doesn't use anymore. Will I be able to use this on my XP machine to read HFS+ partitions? The version is 6.1.5 I think?

Also, should I be getting full speeds that the drive supports if I use Mac Drive? As in, will Windows work with the HFS+ drives as if they were native NTFS drives for example? I am asking this because the same drives that were NTFS formatted gave me around 60MB/sec connected via IDE directly. Will I have the same performance if I use HFS+ and Mac Drive on Windows? Or does Mac Drive lower powerformance?

Thanks!

Thanks!

Any trouble with corruption etc? Do you have any tests for my second question?

Thanks man.
