Seeing as the base models don't come with an option for a Magic Trackpad 2 when bought from non Apple dealer I was wondering if anyone is using their Magic Trackpad #1 with a new iMac Pro? I have several Magic Trackpad #1s.

The base iMac Pro model is discounted in quite a few places (except Apple) here in the UK now hence asking. I'm seriously thinking of going for one, though for me it is a big consideration which I'm still toying with.

I would maybe try to get the space grey Trackpad #2 via the Apple Chat but no idea if that will be successful considering the rigmarole some people have had to go through. Really strange you can't buy it separately. Even when you add the space grey Trackpad #2 to BTO via Apple suddenly the shipment time is two weeks later here in the UK.

No reason why it wouldn’t work it’s a Bluetooth trackpad that works with any Apple OS.
