Hello! Every Mac wizard!
I am taking interested in Mac and want to buy a portable computer now.The main purposes are browsing web,editting blog, reading and writing papers.My question is that Macbook and macbook pro which one should be my best choice? I perfer to Macbook in that it is cheaper than mbp,but many friends of mine told me that the cost performance of mbp is more higher than mb.I am puzzling.

Do you play games? Many would say that the main differentiator is the video chipset, personally I'd recommend a plain MacBook if you don't play games (especially if it's your first Mac).

Actually, I just play games in my PlayStation.BTW,are there many games exist in MAC? Can you tell me some more?

If you play any PC games, then bootcamp allows Macs to play them natively.

If its really graphics intense games you're going for and desperately need, then go for the MBP.

but for the stuff you listed in your OP, i think a macbook would be fine. But if you need the extra room on the screen then you could go for the low end MBP.
