Hi, I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max. As of today, does MS Team works well on the iPhone? Is it better to tether it to a Mac and do the online meeting via the Mac rather than the phone?

In case I have the meeting in public and don't want people nearby to hear what the other party says, is it better to get a USB-C headphone with mic? Any recommendation?

Same way as you would with a phone call. Either hold the iPhone up to your ear like a phone, or use some sort of headset/earphones. Whether you use wired earbuds or wireless ones like AirPods, it doesn't matter... Teams basically functions as a fancy phone app.

I've been using Teams on my iPhone for over 4 years now. No issues. I find the macOS App to be far buggier. Windows 10/11 is the best, as it should be.
I don't know why so many people have issues with Teams. It works fine for me on my Mac even before they rolled out the "New Teams" last year, which was rebuilt from the ground up.

I always have had issues with getting my camera to work properly on Teams for Mac. Multiple Macs too so it wasn't a hardware issue.

I use teams on my work iPhone every Monday for a audio conference call/meeting, and throughout the day and week for chatting with coworkers. Works just fine.

Never tried it on a Mac.

The university I work at switched to teams for our voice provider back in January so I get all work calls via teams voice on my iPhone. I use AirPods Pro with zero issues for the voice calls or meetings.

No issue with MS Teams on iphone. I do keep a tight leash around it by blocking access to photos and some other things.

iPhone is probably better but Teams is a trash. I ask my clients to provide a windows laptop if they use teams. And even on windows fans kick in when I use teams. I am not putting that crap on my Mac.

I haven't used Teams on a Mac, but I do use it on my phone & my work PC, and I think the answer depends on what you plan to do with it. If you are just passively listening to calls the phone might be the better device, but if you are presenting or if there is a group chat during the call, I find the windows app to be easier to manage.
