I can't wait for Mountain Lion, however having a 13" MBP I like to have that extra screen space, and connecting up to a cable on my TV isn't exactly ideal.

Does the Airplay Mirroring feature include extended desktop mode? I have reason to believe it doesn't, if this is the case is Airparrot (http://airparrot.com/) worth getting?

Why wouldn't it?

i think the airplay implementation in Mountain Lion does in fact only cover Mirroring and not extending the desktop, its for that same reason that i've considered getting AirParrot.
