More specifically, video show with a digital camera (like the new Canon's).

Does it work natively with the iPad? Can the movies be uploaded and viewed using the Camera Connection Kit?

I was able to import some old quicktime .mov videos shot with a friends camera from years ago no problem via the camera kit. So my best guess would be yes.

Id be interested in confirmation on the point of uploading video via the camera connection kit and its restrictions. Could this mean in theory, carrying up to an extra 16GB ( SDcard) worth of movies encoded in .mov/h.264 and put in the typical camera folders root/dcim/ etc so that the ipad picks it up.
