They are quite lower than the average scores for the iPhone X on geekbench and it's probably because you're on Low Power Mode.

Geekbench pretty much means nothing to me. So many comparisons to opposition phones with lower scores handle Apps better. Granted, that's more to do with memory, but still, speed isn't everything.

Expected the X to perform much better than other phones when I first heard of its Geekbench performance...

So you know enough about GeekBench to run it and worry about the score, but not enough that Low Power Mode will have an impact? I'm calling BS on this. I think you're trying to manufacture a controversy related to CPU throttling on the X, and your fake ignorance around "what the scores should be" is even less convincing.

One of many threads.
You guys didn’t have to respond. You could’ve just went on like you didn’t even see it.

No I actually forgot about my phone being in lpm. I must of bumped the toggle yesterday. That’s why I then posted another screenshot with lpm off. Why would I try to make my $1000 phone look bad? I love the iPhone X all besides Face ID.

I think you think people around here are more informed than they are. A lot of people end up here only because they sniff a bit of gossip and run with it and that leads them to some funny thing called GeekBench, which gives you a number that doesn't have any context... and your phone is running slow for some reason... maybe it's that throttling thing.

That said... yeah the constant hand wringing is pretty annoying.

Yeah it's almost impossible to have an adult conversation here at times. In case you didn't know the forum has an awesome ignore feature. I use it all the time on trouble makers and people who have little to nothing to offer other than snide and childish remarks. The ignore feature works great and makes the forum much more tolerable and fun to visit.

I personally don't put much stock in benchmarks but I also don't have an issue with your thread. You asked a legitimate question and got a few helpful responses..

Couldnt like your comment enough. It is definitely hard to find helpful people on here. Cause it’s mainly the jacka**es that comment. Thanks for the ignore suggestion. I appreciate it.
