Does NFS Carbon support 1280x800?

Got NFS Carbon running on my new aluminum MacBook. Although the highest resolution it seems to support it 1024x768. Is this how it is supposed to be?
 
Some games have a widescreen option that can be ticked. If it has one, tick it and it may enable the 1280x800 resolution.
