iPod Does Nike + iPod Sport Kit Work On fake iPod?

I wanted to buy a nike sport kit for ipod but i just discovered that my ipod is fake

so my question does it work on fake ipod?

It doesn't to me. But I'm no iPod expert. Seems you haven't powered it up yet. I guess the Nike gear won't work. Try it in the shop?

I would be absolutely shocked if it worked. Looks more like last gens nano than an original ipod though (hard to tell how big it is from the pic).

Why on earth do you think that would work??

For that to work, it needs to use the iPod OS that's on all the real iPod's. I'm guessing this doesn't have the same OS as an iPod you'd buy off the shelf, it's probably to do with copyright/licensing etc.

Therefore, because your iPod is a fake and doesn't run the iPod OS - you will not be able to use the Nike+iPod sports kit.
