Of course you can. Paralells is just a normal application, and doesn't effect OS X in any profound way; Boot Camp, on the other hand just changes the way the computer tries to find the boot partition, and doesn't effect OS X itself either.

You might have a problem with the Windows licence though, don't know if it will allow you to install it twice.

thanks--I already have windows installed and have no probs booting from that partition. My plan is to Run Logic pro on the mac side,Protools and Nuendo on the windows side( with a load of high end plugins for both )not at the same time of course,and foresee a load of problems formatted as FAT32--namely: slowing my machine down to a crawl.I formatted as FAT on windows so that I can move audio files from Logic (mac)to Protools.(writing to windows)
In theory it sounds good to me but --are there obstacles I'm missing?

I think you can install Windows twice, once each on different machines (which is essentially what the OP would be doing). While I've never tried to install the same copy of Windows on two different machines, I have installed the same copy of MS Office on several machines without a problem. I don't know if Windows is different from Office in this respect, though.

I think Office comes with 3 different keys. Atleast when I bought a copy a year ago, it came with three keys.

That's why I'm wondering how many keys Windows and Parallels comes with.

Yes, Parallels will run alongside Boot Camp.
according to MS's EULA you are allowed to install XP on only one machine. If it's an OEM version only the machine which it was purchased with. MS Office is allowed to be installed on one desktop and one laptop.
as far as Office coming with 3 keys, that is OS X ver/student & teachers. For win only one key.
I also wouldn't worry about running WXP on both sides, because even tho it is installed on 2 partitions it is only installed on one machine. If it won't authenticate using internet, use the 800# and authenticate over the phone.

@AvA2345
did you try re-D/L'g and re-burning a new drivers disk?
