Should work, but there's lots of threads with better deals.

You're right. But if I order through Amazon I can get $30 off if I apply for Amazon VISA. Everything bit helps after $2000 for MBP. I know, I know if you can spend that much on a MBP the don't skimp on the ram...

PC2-5400 ok for MBP?

My main concern is whether PC2-5400 is ok and what is the difference from PC2-5300?

ah, do what you have to ;).

also, I just started a thread on RAM deals here so check out that for some good deals :)

5300 and 5400 are marketing-speak, they both run at 667 MHz in an Intel Mac.

Several problems with that sale however. The photo is wrong. It is sold by ANTOnline, not by Amazon. so you are dealing with an unknown vendor. Listing the 'regular' price at $149 reduced to $48.59 is an outright fabrication. If this is the Kingston KVR module that comes with a heatsink, I do NOT recommend it for use in a MacBook or iMac because physically it is too tight of a fit for the slots.

I see what you mean. I think I'll stick with OWC for ram memory. Thanks for the advice.
