Does Photostream only work on the "main" iCloud account?

I'm still confused about how to share certain items between my wife's iPhone and mine...

Do I need to use the same "main" iCloud account on both phones to share a Photostream?

Is the "main" iCloud account the one entered during setup and displayed in Settings --> iCloud?

Yes, iMessage and Facetime have their own logins in settings.

Not sure why that is happening. If you go into:

Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> scroll down to the Contacts section.....what user is listed for My Info?

Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

All I know is.....in iOS5, you can have a login for:

Store
iMessage
Facetime
iCloud
Game Center

So in theory, you should be able to have a different login for each if you want.
