Can someone (via iOS 9 beta 3) with a Polar H7 HRM strap and the Polar Beat app test whether the app opens and reads the heart rate?

I tried last night and when I went to pair my HR Monitor with the app it crashed. I am running IOS 9 Public Beta.

Thanks for the reply fellow Polar fan. ;) Stinks that it doesn't work. Are you using a different HRM app with iOS 9, or doing without until Polar does their update?
I am actually just pairing it with my PolarA300 watch and recording it that way. It seems to be almost all fitness trackers though, as my Jawbone Move won't pair via bluetooth either.

My Mio Alpha crashes the Wahoo app - definitely seems that the fitness stuff is not yet working

Works here on iPhone 5s on ios9 beta 3, Runtastic. No problem pairing with my watch either. Endomondo ceashes when pairing thou...this is a change from beta 1 and beta 2, where I could not pair the H7 with any app

The Polar Beat and Polar Flow apps need to be updated for iOS 9.
Wish I'd seen this prior to installing IOS 9. No, the Polar app doesn't work. So I deleted and reinstalled. Everything's OK until I try to set up the Bluetooth, then CRASH! Guess I'm not going to be using the Polar stuff for awhile. Bummer.

I don't know what kind of what you have but, I am still able to sync the Polar Flow app with the Polar M400 and to the Polar Dairy online, even though I can't start the heart rate monitor with the app open, as it will crash the app. My workout is still recorded to the Polar Dairy online.

No it doesn't! Very disappointing. Updated to IOS9 this morning, got to the gym and the app kept crashing. Git home deleted and re-installed the app, all ok, went to pair my H7 and clicked the pair tab and the app keeps crashing! Not happy!

It still don' t pair, eventough the iPhone pairs with the bluetooth Polar h7, so i conclude the bug's in the Polar Beat app
I am having the same problem, H7 pairs, can see it in BT but when try to connect Polar beat, it crashes.

Posted at Polar, but got no reply, may take months before they do anything.

From Polar:

Thank you for contacting Polar Canada.

The App crashing appears to be a bug from the latest IOS update. There should be a fix from Apple or an update for Polar Beat soon.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

The unofficial rumour I am getting that BT stack 1.0 was removed and Polar Beat was not updated and still uses 1.0 as it uses no security.

Bought an Apple Watch Sport yesterday loaded it with MotoFit, it sees the H7, and loads data into health.

It works, don't have to use the buggy Polar Beats anymore

I have a 5s and Polar Beat crashes on me since the IOS9 update as well. my H7 still functions with mapmyride, so I'll use that until Polar solves this.

Well, I deleted IOS 9 and went back to 8 JUST so I can use my Polar app. And it's working.

I noticed an update this morning on two Polar apps. Anyone know if that resolves the crashes of Polar Beat on IOS 9? I'd rather not go through that again.

Sync problems have been fixed with the updates.

after the update, the app wouldn't see the HR sensor at first. I tried unpairing it in order to re-pair it, but that didn't work. I rebooted my phone; then the app paired immediately, so it looks good to go now.

Here is what I think is the problem and how to fix it (Okay, it worked for me, so I hope it works for you).

Problem - In IOS 9iHealth app senses the polar device as a health device and allocates it. The Polar app can't access it because the iHealth app is using it.

Solution - Open iHealth, select Sources at the bottpm of the screen, turn off the Update Health Data switch. Retry Polar app.

I hope this work for everyone. I would love to hear your feedback.
