Made a mistake.
Forgot that you cannot do a factory reset on a jailbreaked iphone.
Sold my iphone to someone, when gave him the phone just did a "Settings>General>Reset".
Question, I know this will cause the phone to freeze at apple icon, but does it erase all my stuff??

Starting with iOS 5, telling an iOS device to reset all content and settings in the manner you did causes it to get stuck at the Apple logo. However, if both buttons are help to restart the device it will reboot as if nothing happened. This also occurs if you do a wipe with Find My iPhone.

I am not really worry about stuck at apple icon.
Since I already gave the phone away, what I am more worry about is if my stuff on the phone have been erased....
Would doing "Settings>General>Reset" on a jailbreak phone erase all my stuff as I wanted?
ps. I believe 7.0.x jailbreak

Do a fresh install with iTunes.
OP has sold the phone already. The buyer would have to do that and the concern is that if the OP's data is still there the buyer may be able to access it.

OP. I recently had to wipe my phone so Apple could replace it. My understanding was that doing a restore from the phone essentially did nothing because the jailbreak would prevent that. In my case, I also forgot that I had an additional tweak installed that specifically prevented restoring. That was with Evas0n 6. I assume that Evasi0n 7 and Pangu are probably the same.

I'm no expert so I can't provide an answer, but my best guess is that your data is still there.

If you don't mind me asking, what was that tweak?

I believe on ios 7 and above when you do an erase all while JB it doesn't go through and just errors out.
But your device still boots up and all your info is still there and nothing deleted.
Hope you had a passcode lock setup cause the buyer might be browsing through all your iphone info right now.

Your data and information is still on the device. All the buyer would need to do to acces it was press and hold both buttons until it restarted. Then it would boot up normally with all your data intact.

Damn it...
The only good thing is I do have 4digit passcode set...but not sure how protective that is...
What about accessing the DCIM photo folder?
Can't the buyer just plug device through usb and access DCIM directly?

Unless the computer is trusted or the device is unlocked, there is no way to gain access to any of the information on the device when it has a passcode set.
