Safari crashes at least once a day for me. I'm a power user; I often have several web browser windows open with multiple tabs each. I don't have any safari plugins or mods or anything, it just gets to a certain point and *poof*. There are some sites that crash it every time. Is it any more stable on 10.4? I read that on 10.4 there's actually a graphic bug that crashes safari even more then 10.3. I tried firefox, but I'm so comfortable with Safari's interface that I'd hate to switch. Thoughts? Ideas? Opinions?

I'm using 10.4.6 and Safari very rarely crashes. Although there was a stretch (around 10.4.3 or so) that it crashed on ESPN.com, but I think that was caused by an ad blocker more than anything.

Nope. I know tho, Im not a big fan of Firefox on the Mac at all. Camino maybe but Safari is just so much nicer...

We have 10.3.9 in our computer labs and Safari is crash prone. In 10.4 it's really stable. I don't think I've ever encountered a crash after 10.4.5. Unless it involved a Safari exploit. :(

And even then I was just testing them with Terminal open to kill the process.

I'm a Hardcore user about 3-5 hours open a day... and it usually crashes on me about once every 2 weeks. Not bad for a browser that isnt really supported officially by ALLOT of the big sites out there.
running 10.4.6
