Moving from Windows to Mac. I want the same size of everything on the screen (same text/font size, same icon size etc.). I currently have 13" MBP 2017 and I plan to return it just because small screen/small text/small screen bothers me and get 15" MBP 2017 so I can get almost the same size as I am used to of (HP Probook 15.6"). MBP 2017 15" is actually 15.3" so I guess 0.6" won't make much difference.
The resolution I had on HP was 1388x768. I understand that I can't get the same on MBP 15". But the closest similar I can get is 1280x800. I'm currently using 13" MBP at this resolution but things are still small - while I can zoom in while using the browser, I can't do that while using apps such as Photoshop, Final Cut, uTorrent and text appear very small to me on these apps.
So the question is, does 1280x800 on 15" MBP look the same as 13" MBP OR will text size and everything else size be bigger on the 15" while using the same resolution as on 13"?
Again, the purpose of returning 13" and getting 15" is so I can have text size and everything-else-on-screen size as similar to my HP 1388x768 15.6" screen as possible.
Unfortunately, no Apple stores where I live so I can't actually check out the MBPs on display like you can at an Apple store. So I have to make sure of this before I return my 13".
