Does Skype work yet in iOS5?

I've done a lot of searching on google, skype.com, and macrumors.com, and everything I've read says skype cannot run in the background on iOS 5. Has anyone gotten it to work on iOS5? (Not sure if i'm reading just the complaints or the general consensus).

It has ran in the background since iOS 4 bro.

Has been working fine for me, I just used it last week in iOS 5 in the background and foreground.

It's been working since the betas for iOS 5.
