Apple made the Magsafe1 "L" connector, which was really great, but then used a stupid "T" connector for Magsafe2. A worsening "improvement" ! That connector uses a lot of lateral space, which is really annoying when one want to put two MacBooks side by side.
Has someone seen a charger with Magsafe2 "L" connector evtl. made by a third party?

I've finally found a practical solution:
Magsafe adapter in L-form
This adapter allows you to power a MacBook with a Magsafe2 in a much more compact L-shaped format. It comes in two variants: a USB-C version that can be used with a modern USB-C charger, and a 5mm barrel version that allows you to use a 19V charger from other brands. The barrel version also allows you to repair Apple chargers whose cable is starting to get briddle. You cut the cable on the Magsafe side and slide a heat-shrink tube up to the charger, then solder a standard 5mm-2.1mm barrel connector.

Enjoy!
